This dashboard pulls headlines from a fixed list of public RSS feeds. Bias and factuality labels
come from a small, static mapping that roughly follows public assessments from media monitors
(e.g., AllSides & Media Bias/Fact Check). They’re coarse, not definitive. “Official” denotes primary government sources.
Why it takes so long to load. The reason it takes a while to load is because the site is pulling articles from RSS feeds with each page load. Having no dynamically cached content allows us to host this site for free on cloudflare pages, and allows you to get a news overview with bias and factuality ratings completely for free with no ads (well, no ads from us. It's possible there are ads when you go to the news pages).
